Laser Tattoo Removal

How it works

Light is emitted from this laser via two wavelengths: 532nm and 1,604nm. The former allows for the removal of warmer colours such as yellow, orange, red, pink, brown and white. The higher wavelength is absorbed by dark-coloured tattoo inks, such as black, purple and blue.

Ms Precision is predominately Brow Tattoo removal. However smaller body tattoo removal is welcome and is costed on size of tattoo.

Expect possibly 5-10 sessions depending on how saturated your brow tattoo is.

POST-TREATMENT:

 Laser Tattoo Removal After-care.

Proper eyebrow tattoo removal aftercare will control the ensuing redness, swelling, blisters, and itching of the skin and help to remove the tattoo the best way possible.

Here are some tips for eyebrow tattoo removal aftercare:

  • Prevent inflammation by using ice water compress immediately after treatment and for the rest of the day on and off for 10 minutes at at time every hour or so.
  • Use aloe vera after treatment to cool and soothe and then later that day use zinc oxide cream. Zinc oxide topical cream is used to treat redness, burning, itching, and mild skin rashes.  This will be provided to you by Ms Precision.
  • Dab the brows every hour to reduce weeping build up this reduces large scabbing
  • Room temperate water wash gently in the shower that night no soaps and tissue dab dry.
  • Sleep Upright that night. Very important to reduce fluids rushing to face and eyes.
  • On the second and third day, if advised use antibiotic ointments such as salvon. These ointments are amazingly effective in preventing skin infections.
  • From the fourth day on, use restorative creams like vitamin E to regenerate the skin..
  • Protect the tattooed area from sunlight.
  • If you smoke, try stopping or at least cutting down for the duration of your eyebrow tattoo removal journey. The healing process will be quicker and easier.
  • Avoid picking: Blisters could potentially occur. Leave them. Don't pick, pop or scratch the treated area.
  • Avoid makeup: Don't apply makeup or creams to the treated area for at least 4-5 days. Infection control is important with that first 48 hours.
  • Avoid exercise: Avoid exercise, body massages, and facial massages for at least a week. The heat from working out with make the area very uncomfortable.
  • Avoid saunas and pools: Avoid saunas and pools for at least two weeks.
  • Avoid facial or body treatments: Avoid facial or body treatments for at least 3 - 4 weeks.

Laser eyebrow tattoo removal is actually quite simple. First and foremost, you need to protect your eyebrows from the sun. And keep the eyebrow area and its surroundings dry for a few days. You may see inflammation and superficial red blisters on your skin. Don't worry as these will all be gone in a few days.

Redness after laser eyebrow tattoo removal is due to skin inflammation. There is no need to worry at all as it will disappear after a few days. Some people’s skin may be more sensitive and after the eyebrow tattoo removal session, become red and swollen.

The healing process can take 4-6-weeks, depending on the ink used, the tattoos themselves, and how well you follow your aftercare.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS DURING LASER TATTOO REMOVAL?

When it comes to the actual laser treatment process, cosmetic tattoo removal or permanent makeup removal is no different to any other bodily tattoos or facial tattoos.

The laser emits light energy that pulses directly through the skin surface to remove undesired ink.

The laser is so precise that if you’re concerned that your eyebrows have been tattooed in the wrong shape, we can target only the problem area.

The laser removal process includes light energy targeting a tattoo pigment particle and shattering it into tiny fragments. The body then excretes small enough tattoo ink particle fragments. The larger ink particles that remain will be targeted in proceeding treatment sessions.

WHAT HAPPENS DIRECTLY AFTER THE FIRST EYEBROW REMOVAL TREATMENT?

The most common immediate side effect of laser tattoo removal is frosting, where the treated area swells up and turns white to resemble a frosted cake. This side effect goes down relatively quickly, but you can expect swelling and redness for the next few days.

Before you leave, your laser technician will provide you with the necessary aftercare instructions as well as antibacterial cream.
